summer of color...Pink...Rose...

THANKS A LOT FOR ALL YOUR SWEET COMMENT...Merci pour vos gentils commentaires...see you next week for an other yellow creation...on se revoit la semaine prochaine avec une création jaune...HAVE A NICE WEEK...FULL OF SUN...BONNE SEMAINE PLEINE DE SOLEIL...XXXXX

I like the pink color for me it has always represented femininity, gentleness and tenderness ... Who else in my life except my mother can represent this color so strong and fragile at a time ... an exceptional woman who has loved all everyone in her life while herself ... the balance and wisdom in one person, beauty is still at 92 years old... You can still feel his gentleness and love of life in spite of Alzheimer's disease who stole her memory, her life ... I wanted to give her an important place in my mini book of color ... she means so much to me ... her name is Rose in french who means the same thing than the color pink and the flower... and I used various punches of flowers for that reason, I have also taken wax metallic crayons for the challenge ...

This week again, I took the time to make a pink page in ny art journal on a big envelop cover of gesso ... We have an old French song that says "I see life in pink" and I often sing it... it is a tribute to life as I see it in pink right now ... a lot of ink with a stencil that I made, gesso, pencil and white pen ... so much for this week ... Pink
